Altbier's LOOONG History!

Today we finally get to discuss one of my NEW all time favorite beer styles...of all time...: ALTBIER! Sometimes you just need a clean smooth lager in your life and the altbier satisfies all of that criteria... except its not a lager at all! But you would never be able to guess that from drinking it! So today we are going to deep dive into one of the worlds oldest beer styles and explore its history, its impact on north german beer culture and discover what exactly makes this beer so dang drinkable!
