Scientists found that people who use an electric toothbrush have healthier gums, less tooth decay, and also keep their teeth for longer, compared with those who use a manual toothbrush according to the Oral Health Foundation.
We filmed this using the Photron Nova S16 high speed camera and the ToothShower Sonic Tooth Brush. The Sonic Tooth Brush, with their patented motor, produces Sonic Power up to 48,000 vibrations per minute while not overstressing the battery. The brush head features soft Dupont bristles that clean teeth thoroughly but gently. Using a high shutter speed versus higher frame rate, we can show the detail of the individual bristles without slowing the action down. This makes the action of the brush head against the teeth more dramatic
