Hey! Spend a cozy day in the life as a frugal homemaker with me! 🍂 In today's vlog, I'm sharing my day with you. I will be baking some bread, trying out new twist on a recipe that's perfect for fall, I'll throw a cheap dinner in the crockpot and even finish a thrift store flip I've been wanting to get to. I will also share clips and tips from our homeschool day and the cleaning routine that I often do along with it.

Recipes from today's video:

Milk Bread:

Ingredients:
1 cup hot water
1 pinch of sugar
1.5 TBSP yeast
1 cup warm milk
2/3 cup sugar
1.5 tsp salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
5.5 cups flour
Instructions:
1. In mixer, combine hot water, pinch of sugar and yeast. Let stand for 10 minutes until it becomes frothy
2. Add in remaining ingredients and mix to combine well. Let mix for about 2 minutes to form dough ball.
3. Grease bowl sides, cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 2 hours.
4. On a floured surface, turn out and press out air pockets. Separate into 2 loaves and shape into loaf
5. Place into greased bread dish
6. Bake at 365 until deep golden brown, sounds hollow when you knock on it. Approximately 30 minutes
