Thanks to my friends in the Northern Beaches Symphonic Wind Ensemble and conductor Dr Martin Hardy for performing my arrangement, and to Derek Barg for audio and video.

A concert arrangement of the well known hymn "Praise, my soul, the King of Heaven."
A majestic opening is followed by a rhythmically varied statement of the theme with changing meters, transitioning into a slow chorale section with warm alternate harmonies and lovely contrasts between woodwind and brass choirs. Triumphant brass playing, and a 4 note motif played in 3 variations simultaneously brings the piece to a huge close. Although not in this performance, there is also an organ part.
