Dr. Klaas Kraay is a professor of philosophy at Ryerson University, and authored two papers surveying the literature on God and Gratuitous Evil. In this interview we summarize and assess some arguments that gratuitous evil is compatible with the existence of God. The arguments we focus on come from Michael Peterson, William Hasker, and Peter Van Inwagen.
