Trump's Board of Peace is more a show of how 'Bored of Peace' he now is, but the hypocrisy of who is now involved is insane.
Right, so Donald Trump has created a body called the Board of Peace for Gaza. It’s up and running. Countries are joining. A billion-dollar entry fee is on the table for the pleasure. But the hypocrisy is writ large and the problems are already apparent thanks to the orange oaf when several of the states involved are ones the US itself bans or restricts, and Israel is inside the structure with the power to decide who gets access and who doesn’t. That immediately breaks a basic assumption people were still relying on, which is that peace processes even pretend to be about legitimacy or consent. This one isn’t. It’s built around money, enforcement power, and who can keep the situation quiet. Once you accept that, a lot of the confident talk about diplomacy, reconstruction, and post-war settlement stops adding up, because the machinery underneath it isn’t designed to resolve anything. It’s designed to manage a problem without asking the people living inside it what they think, and to call that outcome peace.
Right, so Donald Trump has set up something called the Board of Peace for Gaza. It exists. It’s been announced. States have been invited in. Some have accepted. Some have told Trump where he can stick it, in so many words. There is a price to join though. One billion dollars.
Several of the states now associated with this board however are countries whose citizens face restrictions or bans under US immigration and visa rules. Pakistan is one. Uzbekistan is one. Azerbaijan is one. Armenia is one. Kosovo is one. Mongolia is one. Morocco and Jordan are involved too. These are not hypothetical cases therefore. These are real states, with real restrictions, now sitting inside a US-branded peace body as if none of that is an issue and the hypocrisy isn’t written all over Donald Trump’s Cheeto dusted face.

Donald Trump's creation of the "gaza peace board" is a topic of intense discussion, especially given the ongoing "gaza war" and complex "middle east" dynamics.
