El Casuario - MuKi&Mu

El Casuario vive en Australia y Nueva Guinea y le gusta habitar en los bosques más húmedos.

Es la segunda ave más pesada de todas después del avestruz. El Casuario llega a pesar más de 50 kilos y medir 1.70 metros.

El Casuario tiene un plumaje negro y preciosos colores en su cuello largo. Sus patas son largas y fuertes y tienen unas uñas que pueden llegar a ser mortales.

En la cabeza tiene un casco formado por un cartílago calcificado.

Es un ave muy solitaria y territorial que solo se junta con el resto en época de apareamiento.

Está considerada por el record guinness como el ave más peligrosa del mundo ya que cuando se siente acorralada o en peligro ataca ferozmente.
