Journey Up the longest Switzerland's Via Ferrata - Daubenhorn solo climb

Описание к видео Journey Up the longest Switzerland's Via Ferrata - Daubenhorn solo climb

Daubenhorn Via Ferrata is the longest via ferrata in Switzerland and is graded K5-6 (Extremely difficult). The path is secured in the steep rock face of the Daubenhorn (2942m), rising above Leukerbad with more than 2000 meters of steel cables and 216 meters of ladders. At the top of the path, one can climb through the imposing rock wall on Via Konst.

It's one of the most demanding via ferrata climbs in Europe, mostly because of almost vertical and very long route to the summit. It was my first via ferrata trip. Although, being physically fit, it still took me 10 hours to complete it, mainly because of lack of experience being compensated by slow and cautious climbing technique.
