Nature Camp at Sitakund Waterfall | Simlipal National Park | Sitakund Waterfall, Baripada , Odisha

Hi Friends,

We plan our Trip to Simlipal National Park (Simlipal Tiger Reserve ) in this November earlier and conducted our trip from Baripada. We started our trip from Kolkata to Jashipur, Odisha by road on 4th November, 2018 afternoon 3:30 PM. The distance was approx 300 km to Jashipur, Odisha which was our first night halt place in the trip. we booked our hotel via phone call and got contact details on Google as well. Hotel Shivam Palace, Jashipur was very good at this place and you can book. Although, there are other hotels to stay as well but best would be Hotel Shivam Palace.

We started our 1st day Jungle Safari using own Vehicle. We had to purchase tickets at Jashipur main gate booking counter.You have to enter with National Park Guides as well and should obey all the regulations of the National Park too. After 1st day Jungle Safari, we were not satisfied and move to Baripada and night stayed in a Hotel. In the morning, we did checkout our hotel and move to Pithabata Check Gate for Simlipal National Park Jungle Safari which is the 2nd entry point to Simlipal National Park but we were not being permitted to go inside with our own car, although we were got permitted to enter with our own vehicle from Jashipur Check Gate. So we were not interested to hire another vehicle and go inside, instead we conducted our own Nature Camping just beside the Pithabata check gate approximately 2 km. We finally choose Sitakund Falls for our Camping.

This video was taken in Sitakund Waterfalls while we did our Nature Camping. We have seen many evidance of having wild elephants in there but not facing any, most probably wild elephants comes to the place to drink water. It was very natural and really spell bound. We also takes our bath in the 2nd falls and can't able to visit other top level falls. There are total seven falls step by step and we just seen bottom two of them only. Basically, no such proper roads to go there and lots of struggle needed to reach 2nd level itself. Finally, we take our Lunch in the Camp after bath and leave around 4 PM approximately towards Baripada to Kolkata.

In the next upcoming video, we're going for even more interesting trips around different part of India ! Our motive is to complete trips in every single States of Incredible India, rather every single Districts in upcoming days.
