In this video I discuss a theory that has caused a lot of controversy; is the Cloud Arena (from The Answer), and the Ancient Sky Arena the same place? Some people say they have been confirmed to be the same place, some say it's confirmed to not be the same place, others say it's just a theory and has not been confirmed to be anything yet. Despite this dispute, I decided to share my thoughts on the matter. The Answer was a very stylised and simplified episode. Colours, and designs were different from the normal style. Even though the Cloud Arena was done in a different style, it still shares similarities with with Ancient Sky Arena. They both have holes and pillars. A huge portion of the Sky Arena is missing, at one point it may have been the same size as the Cloud Arena. Stevonnie, Garnet, Ruby, Sapphire, Steven, and Connie, parallel each other a lot between The Answer and Mindful Education. When Stevonnie falls and floats it's the same positions as Ruby and Sapphire did. They both land in a meadow directly below the arenas. There are mountains covered in snow in the backgrounds of both scenes that look exactly the same as each other. The climate and plants match the areas they are set in. In Sworn To The Sword, Pearl states that the Ancient Sky Arena is where some of the first battles for Earth took place. The Answer was set in an arena during the early days of the rebellion, and there was a battle. There are other variations on this theory, like the arenas could just be sister locations of Blue Diamond's court. But for now I'm just going to go with them being the same place.
