PIR sensor is one of the most commonly used sensors for sensing motion of human, animal etc.Most commonly used projects using PIR are pir sensor based security system, pir sensor alarm,PIR sensor light, automatic street light project, human detection robot using Arduino, motion detector, Automatic Door Opening System etc.
Areas of Applications of PIR Sensors are:
All outdoor Lights, Lift Lobby, Multi Apartment Complexes, Common staircases, For Basement or Covered Parking Area,
Shopping Malls, For garden lights etc.

In this video, we will make a simple project to detect the motion of human or animal and an AC Light Bulb will be turned on if the motion is detected.
