The bottle in the “Battle” is a unique blend of Italian cultivar Nero d’Avola and the truly unique Urla Karasi grape (Karasi being Turkish for ‘black”) a varietal saved from extinction by Can upon discovery at their extraordinary plant nursery.

Also discovered at Urla were ancient amphora indicating a long history of winemaking.
