991 GT3MR | Glory Pursuit

Obsessed Studios presents Aidan Vo's stunning Porsche 911 GT3 MR, captured in all its glory.

Aidan Vo's journey began with a humble DC2 Integra, evolving through drag racing and road racing into a passion that would eventually lead him to the Porsche 911 GT3. After taking a decade-long break to focus on his career and family, Aidan returned with a vision: to create the perfect blend of performance and style in his dream car.

This film showcases Aidan’s decade-long vision of his ideal 911 build. A Porsche purist would be against the idea of modifying any factory masterpiece, but Aidan had a vision, a vision he wanted to bring to life and execute.

You would think a factory 911’s handling and performance was enough, but Aidan did not want to settle. The 911 was then equipped with Manthey Racing's complete suspension, brake, and aero package making this car one of the few GT3s with these parts in the Bay Area.
A unique modification on this car that would signify the uniqueness of his vision would be his decision to replace the factory GT3 wing with a Porsche Sport Design ducktail. The ducktail was not a simple piece that you could just call a local dealership. It was on an indefinite backorder and took months to source one from a local owner looking to go back to a factory setup. Not only was it hard to source, it was a whole process to also source and install a 911R intake, 911R engine cover, the hinges, and the oil return lines to be refitted into the car in order to allow the trunk to fit.

The car was then provided by Dundon with an intake, throttle body, plenum, and headers. Along with these modifications JCR provided their titanium race pipes and titanium exhaust tips to improve the iconic scream to redline we all enjoy from any 911. These resulted in the car reaching new peaks in performance as it increased the mid range torque and top-end which paid relevance to his previous Honda builds he had built in the past.

We all know the constant feeling of perfecting your build and Aidan was no exception. He then decided to take this car to the next level by installing fender flares, splitter, bumper, and crash bar specifically from a 991.2 Cup car to top it all off while also pairing these parts with a gorgeous set of BBS E88s to top it all off.

The purpose of this car? Was it a track toy? A show car? Aidan would ask you, why not both? This car has been set through the paces on race tracks while also remaining an art piece that belongs on a showroom floor. With any artform there comes the uniqueness factor of every artist. This car was a canvas that became a true work of art that followed Aidan’s decade long vision and our ethos of staying obsessed.
