Upon closer observation you will see that this is in fact not a rhinestone at all but a flat circular disc with a holographic sparkle to it! This is really a fantastic variation to having a sparkling rhinestone because unlike rhinestones there is no additional weight added by glass and is non-abrasive.

In this video we will show you the software and how we made this shirt being shown. So the Spangles begin on a roll of tape in the form of a cartridge. It’s about 70 meters and depending on the size of the punch you choose to use you will get tens of thousands of punches.

We use the Hotfix Era Software to import an image in and vectorize it. You can fully manually draw as well as trace. You can use premade letters and images in the software. If you bring an image in and auto digitize the artwork for you so that you can get to punching the design.


Once your design is prepped and ready to go, you plug in your spangle elite tape cartridge. Then that runs through the spangle elite and the tape gets hole-punched in the design you created. The Transfer paper on the bottom will actually be where all of the Spangles are collected in the correct place to get ready to press on your garment.
