TRADITIONAL & TASTY PRJ 2019 (Kerak Telor, Dodol Betawi, Toge Goreng) Indonesian Street Food guide

Visiting PRJ Jakarta 2019 (Pekan Raya Jakarta) and trying some of the famous and delicious traditional Jakarta food (Betawi food)

Ever heard about Kerak Telor? It's a fried and to the same time BBQed Egg stuffed with Rice. It looks so amazing when they are cooking this traditional food and flipping over the Frypan. Amazingly the Egg is not falling out but sticking to the Frypan. You have the choice of Duck and Chicken Egg for your Kerak Telor. The taste is a mix of Egg, Shrimp and Coconut. Kerak Telor cost 25.000 IDR.

After that I tried Toge goreng Betawi which was much more than just Bean Sprouts, we also get noodle and Ketupat in it mixed with a heavy sauce made from Tempe, Tauco and Oncom. This seems to be another traditional food from Jakarta. Cost of Toge Goreng is 20.000 IDR

Afterwards I saw this place with huge fryingpans and directly checked it out. They are producing a traditional candy from Jakarta called Dodol. A candy full with sticky rice, coconut and sugar, wanne give it a try? Dodol cost 15.000 IDR.
