A quick overview of the Speedster Stove

The Speedster Stove system is an excellent lightweight backpacking stove that folds up small and pairs greatly with a titanium mug/pot. It comprises a screw lid burner, combined windshield and pot rest and a folding baseplate.

Weight of the stove system and mug is around 305g (10 1/2 ounces) including 100ml of fuel.

Size of the kit, ready for packing, is 10 x 15cm (6" x4".

I prefer alcohol stoves in the most part to gas stoves. I like the simplicity of the stove and most of all the fact that's it's silent in operation. The downside is that it takes longer to reach boiling point than a gas stove but I'm in no hurry when I'm out and about.
