On December 16th, 2020, articulated buses were grounded in their depots due to Winter Storm Gail. Due to the limited amount of standard buses, some 2011 NovaBus LFS's were loaned from Queens Village to West Farms, where the Bx19 is based out of.

The Bx19 bus is one of the only West Farms routes to rarely have standard buses assigned to it, even during weekends and rush hour put-ins. Because of this, it was nice to catch these various standard buses assigned to the Bx19.
