Itachi Uchiha was a ninja prodigy from the Uchiha Clan in Konohagakure and the elder brother of Sasuke Uchiha. He was known for his quiet, insightful personality, and his immense talent, leading him to become an Anbu captain at age 13. A major antagonist for much of the series, his true motives were revealed after his death: he massacred his clan to prevent a coup and a potential world war, acting under orders to protect the village and his brother. His abilities included mastery of the Sharingan and its advanced Mangekyo Sharingan, genjutsu like Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo, as well as proficiency in ninjutsu and fire/water release techniques.

Appearance and attire
Physical features: A tall, lean man with black hair styled in a low ponytail with long, parted bangs framing his face. He had black eyes with pronounced tear-troughs beneath them.
Clothing: He is often depicted in a long black robe with red cloud patterns, the symbol of the criminal organization Akatsuki. He wore a Konoha headband with a horizontal slash over it, signifying his status as a rogue ninja. Inside his cloak, he wore standard ninja attire, including a mesh armor shirt and dark blue pants.
Personality
Childhood: Traumatized by war, he became a pacifist who sought peace at any cost. He was quiet and insightful, observing and analyzing situations to understand them thoroughly.
Motivations: Despite his pacifist nature, he was willing to make extreme sacrifices for the greater good, seeing it as his duty to protect the village and his younger brother, even if it meant being a villain to the world.
Abilities
Ninjutsu: He was highly skilled in both unique ninjutsu, such as creating exploding shadow clones and summoning crows, and nature transformations, with a particular mastery of Fire and Water Release.
Sharingan and Mangekyo Sharingan: He was a prodigy with the Sharingan and later the Mangekyo Sharingan. His abilities included creating black flames that are impossible to extinguish (Amaterasu) and using a spectral being called Susanoo, which wielded the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror shield.
Genjutsu: He was a master of genjutsu, the most famous being Tsukuyomi, a powerful illusionary technique that could trap its victims in a world of pain.
