JVA Coach to Coach Video of the Week: Dig Set Approach Catch

Описание к видео JVA Coach to Coach Video of the Week: Dig Set Approach Catch

The Academy for Volleyball Cleveland (Aurora, Ohio) shares a player run warm-up drill that allows setters to warm up setting and digging, back row players to warm up digging and out of system setting, and attackers to warm up both in system and out of system hitting. This drill can be run on both sides of the net to maximize your court space and touches on the ball.

The player enters the ball cross court to left back, right back releases to set outside. Players will approach and catch practicing a 3 step approach on one side and a 4 step approach on the other. They do a total of 10 and then will switch. We make sure that the ball is entered both cross court and down the line at both pins and approach and catch at both pins. 10 each for a total of 40.
