The rally "LET CUBA LIVE" in Manahatta, Lenapehoking (Manhattan, New York City), was organized by several organizations, on Sunday, October 27, 2024. The rally was at East 42 Street and Vanderbilt Ave (in front of Grand Central Terminal. Near the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations [315 Lexington Ave] and near the Mexican Consulate [East 39 Street]).

“On October 30, 2024, Cuba will submit a resolution to the UN General Assembly to lift the US embargo for the 32nd time. The first time the resolution was submitted it was supported by 59 countries, today the number of states voting for its adoption has grown to 187. For the last several years only two countries have opposed the resolution, the United States and Israel. These same countries are conducting a genocide of the Palestinian population in Gaza. “The UN General Assembly on Thursday (2 November 2023) voted by a large margin against the United States’ economic and trade embargo against Cuba, first imposed in 1960.
