Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance 2022 (PS2): Johnny Cage on Max, 3 Rounds

Описание к видео Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance 2022 (PS2): Johnny Cage on Max, 3 Rounds

I'm reviving the MK Deadly Alliance Playthrough series. Since this marks the game's 20th anniversary, it's about time I update my playthrough series. This time I will be playing as every single character on the Max difficulty setting, AND playing with 3 rounds to win as opposed to 2 to make things interesting and different from most other people's playthroughs of this game.

This is Part 7 out of 24, where I will be using Johnny Cage. A really nice character with cool special moves, although I find his combos underwhelming and his weapon to be shit.

Enjoy!

Best combos:
(Start in Karate) 1, 1, U4, U4
(Start in Karate) 1, 2, 3, 3, 3
(Start in Karate) 1, 2, 3, 4
(Start in Karate) 1, 1, CS, wait, B1, wait, BF4
(Start in Karate) 1, 1, CS, wait, B1, wait, BSP
(Start in Karate) 1, 1, CS, wait, B1, wait, 2, 2, 4
(Start in Jeet Kune Do) B1, B1, BF4
(Start in Jeet Kune Do) B1, B1, BSP
(Start in Jeet Kune Do) 2, 2, 3, 3, 4
(Start in Jeet Kune Do) 2, 2, 3, 3, B4
(Start in Jeet Kune Do) 2, 2, 3, 3, CS, B2, BF4
(Start in Nunchaku) B2, B2, BF4

My tips:
If you have enough space between you and the opponent, make sure to get a heal in if you can. You can also try firing your force ball at the opponent.
Johnny Cage's Super Uppercut is a really nice special move, the AI seems to barely ever counter this move, so I would recommend it. Shadow Kick is also pretty safe on block as well.
Don't even bother with the Nunchaku. They're total shit. A lot of the combos in that style actually don't connect even against a standing, defenceless opponent in Practice Mode. The only time I find Nunchaku useful is against characters with a Reversal move, such as Kano and Jax. 1, 1, 1, 1 and B4 are what I would consider useful attacks in this stance. His launching B2 is also useful, but that's about it.
Out of his 3 styles, I would recommend Karate the most as it has the best combos. Jeet Kune Do is alright but it doesn't have many good attacks. Plus, Johnny Cage has no combos which branch from Karate to Nunchaku unless you pull off fancy shit, but even then the damage output is frankly quite low.
