Work Details - The job was to convert this Mercedes S class into a Maybach with dual-tone paint, here is how it went. The parts to be replaced were the show grill, front bumper, and headlights. A lot of chrome accessories were to be added with the new body kit. On the rear, the taillights were to be replaced alongside the rear bumper and diffuser kit with two exhausts. We began with opening parts from the interior and exterior of the car. We proceeded with fitting the body kit before painting it to make sure the parts fit in correctly. After making sure the parts were fixed perfectly they were removed again to proceed with the paint job. After putty, primer, and sanding, the car was taken into the paint booth for the final paint job, material used was Glasurit, Germany. The most critical part of this paint job was dual-tone paint, for which masking was to be done very precisely. The results were amazing as this Mercedes S class was completely transformed into a Mercedes Maybach.
