About the presenters:
Jamie Rogers is the Assistant Director of Digital Collections at Florida International University (FIU). In this capacity, she leads the digital production, digital scholarship, and data management strategies for internally and externally funded initiatives in collaboration with the FIU community, as well as local partners, including municipalities, cultural institutions, government agencies, and scientific organizations.

Karen Urbec, MLIS, CA is the archivist and digital collections specialist at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens where she is responsible for the physical and intellectual management of 24,000 pieces of correspondence, 3,000 architectural drawings, 3,000 photographs, and a library of 800 volumes. Karen holds a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida and is a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists. She is an active member of the Florida Library Association, serving as the editor of the state-wide journal, Florida Libraries, and as a member of the Intellectual Freedom Committee
