July 11, 2025 – Lambton County, Southwestern Ontario, Canada.
A high precipitation (HP) supercell was embedded in a line of Thunderstorms in the early evening in Lambton County traveling East.

As the skies darkened, a the stor made its presence known with the wide shelf cloud, as if I was staring into the abyss and it stared back. Under the shelf cloud a mesocyclone churned that can only be seen with its subtle wall clouds. Convection ramped up as night fell, and the storm was alive blasting with lightning. Soon, I was caught in the core, blasted with rain, lightning, and wind.

The dashcam compressed a lot of the real storm audio, and thunder wasn’t clearly picked up—just wind. I added thunder and ambient SFX to enhance the experience and match the atmosphere I felt in the moment. The visuals, storm timing, and intensity are real—this was my way of bringing you into it with me.
