Twilight Tour, the first Grand Prix track to be released, is reminiscent of Tiny Temple in that you need to retain Ultimate Sacred Fire (USF) through some tricky turns. Thankfully, Oxide is much more forgiving here in that he makes mistakes and loses USF. He picks it up on lap 1, sustains it most of the way through lap 2, but then loses it. So essentially if you can keep blue-fire all the way through either lap 2 or 3 or most of the way though both, you should be able to pass him and stay there.

I do that here, albeit with a few close calls. The trickiest section is the hop down from the platform toward the end of the lap. You want to land close to left wall and land in a power slide, but not too close that your kart clips the wall, causing you to lose USF. The rest of the track is fairly easy to navigate at top speed, with wide lanes and ample room for error, unlike Tiny Temple.

Overall, fun track to master. Beenox could have made Oxide's time a lot harder than they did. Though difficult, more skilled players can turn in wicked times by keeping USF from the first pad in lap 1 all the way to the end of the race.
