G4★ Agnaktor Vs. Valor Charge Blade - アグナコトル チャージアックス ソロ【MHXX】

Get ready for another round of Agnaktor slander because it's not escaping it.

This monster is garbage, I don't care about "what ifs" of it being brought back and made better ; as it stands now, in its 4th gen iteration, Agnaktor is a terrible monster.

I think the worst thing about Agnaktor is that even in 4th gen it still has the most basic 3rd gen leviathan stuff, which makes his fight incredibly boring and repetitive. 80% of its moveset is charge/slide, double bite, body slam, bite into tail combo, the stuff you already see on all the others like Gobul, Lagiacrus and Royal Ludroth.

At least for Lagiacrus, there was a legitimate attempt at expanding his moveset, especially with the lack of underwater combat in 4th gen. He is a pretty decent fight in GU that keeps up with the 4th gen-introduced monsters.

What did Agnaktor get in 4th gen as a new addition to its moveset? The exact same beak slam attack sequence it already had, except it now tracks the player. Truly groundbreaking. Pun intended.

And I don't speak much of the other 20% of its moveset, being all the annoying digging attacks that just waste time. I don't even consider that "moveset" it's more like a Super Mario boss that you've hit 1 time and now they go through an invincible sequence where you can't deal damage and have to wait out.

So I stand by what I said in the Magmadron video... It's a much, much better monster than Agnaktor.

Anyways, I haven't put out a Charge Blade video in a long time, and since Agnaktor is incredibly weak to element I figured it'd be a good target. Element Valor CB is still among my favorite playstyles in GU, and in this run I had the opportunities to use pretty much its entire moveset, with some elemental discharges instead of only axe swings.

I also wanted to use Limit Breaker but I forgot how painfully slow to charge this art is, and the animation is also endless...
