How to Stop Your Wound from Scarring (my facial road rash quick healing experience with no scar)

A couple years ago, I took a bad fall face-first into an asphalt parking lot. I was scraped up pretty bad in several areas, but the face damage was more emotional because I was unsure if I would be left with a noticeable scar, changing the way I looked. So, I did hours and hours of research on how to prevent it.

I learned if you keep moisture on a wound, it never has to form a scab. That means it never has to go through that itchy, picky phase that results in a pink or red scar that takes years to fade. I also learned that infections, and sun damage can worsen and darken scarred skin.

10 days after the accident, I posted these photos online, and ever since I have received messages and questions about the steps I took, and so I figured I would make this video to have all this info easily accessible to send, should the worst happen and an injury occurs.
