One of the most frequent questions from those looking to get married or those finding an opposite-sex partner is whether they should disclose their same-sex attraction and struggle to their future spouse. Many individuals feel that the stigma of same-sex attraction or gender identity conflict is taboo to discuss during the “get to know each other” phase.

We are joined by life coach Fahima, who some of you may know from British Muslim TV as we explore this question.

Fahima Mahomed graduated with a Business Management Degree (BSc Hons) and worked in a law firm as a conveyancer. She later became a qualified Life coach and certified NLP Practitioner (neurolinguistics programming). Also certified in Mindfulness, Existential, Positive Psychology, Group and Facilitation for companies and institutes, Relationship and Couples Coaching. Certified Mental Health and Wellness Practitioner by the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. Certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is currently pursuing Masters in Psychology and Neuroscience at Kings College London.
