Overcooked 2 is a cooperative cooking simulation game developed by Ghost Town Games and published by Team17, released on August 7, 2018, for multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It supports up to four players who work together to prepare, cook, and serve meals in increasingly chaotic and dynamic kitchens. The game introduces new mechanics such as ingredient tossing and online multiplayer, expanding on the original Overcooked with more recipes, themed levels, and interactive obstacles like moving floors and portals.
It features diverse settings—from magic schools to outer space—and includes transitions between kitchen environments during levels. Overcooked 2 was well-received, earning an 81–83 Metacritic score and winning Best Family Game at The Game Awards 2018. It was later bundled into Overcooked: All You Can Eat for next-gen consoles, with a Nintendo Switch 2 edition released on November 6, 2025.
