This ridiculous track was written and produced by Malcolm McLaren and Leigh Gorman (Adam & The Ants, Bow Wow Wow, Chiefs Of Relief), for the 'Carry On Columbus' film released in 1992. You can hear it playing over the end credits... quite a departure from the Eric Rogers themes of the classic Carry On films, eh?! The female vocals come from Jayne Collins, who herself had a bit of a solo career prior to this, even releasing a single from the 'Baywatch' TV show, before having a hand in forming more recent pop acts like The Saturdays and The Wanted. Vocalist Debbie Holmes (ex-Rip, Rig + Panic) is also in there somewhere, along with a bit of ragga, happy hardcore and the classical piece 'Asturias' by Spanish composer Isaac Albéniz. More interesting than the actual film? Perhaps!
