Historic Downtown is located west of the waterfront (Downtown, the area with the skyscrapers). It contains other neighborhoods such as Hamilton Park, Van Vorst Park, and Harsimus Cove. It mostly contain mid rise buildings and low rise brownstones. It is mostly commercial and residential, with many pedestrian plazas, stores, restaurants, and more. It is a cultural and beautiful area worth to visit, and is located just across the river from New York City. If you are in Lower Manhattan (in NYC) you can take the PATH trains to come here. #jerseycity #newjersey
