E.U.E.R.P.I. - Music Session & Interview | Lampa Sessions

Watch Lampa Sessions, Episode 3 starring Mirian Kolev - E.U.E.R.P.I., a Bulgarian musician, composer and multidisciplinary artist, who creates and performs in experimental, electroacoustic, ambient, improvisational music. His Lampa Sessions set is a captivating and unique soundtrack, improvised and infused with melancholic beauty. E.U.E.R.P.I. is a usual guest of many festivals and stages everywhere around the World - from Europe and Africa to Asia.

He also works on collaborative projects with different visual artists, musicians, dancers, performers and composes music for art installations, videos and dance performances.

Lampa Sessions is produced by Lampa Collective with the financial support of National Culture Fund, Bulgaria, through the “Creation” program and will showcase new artists every month between March and July 2024. The new conceptual music series aims to promote Bulgarian experimental artists and their music.

The series continues with the experimental ambient artist Mirian Kolev - E.U.E.R.P.I. His set for Lampa Sessions is minimalist, atmospheric and discreetly psychedelic, with lots of improvisation (that is an essential part of each of his live performances), based on his guitar and a mystic handcrafted wooden box music instrument. E.U.E.R.P.I. is turning all these into an expressive soundtrack of time and space - at times gloomy, at times cosmic, and with a considerable dose of melancholy, inspired by the world around us.

Lampa Sessions is an original Lampa Collective concept project that will present the creativity and inspiration of 5 experimental Bulgarian musical artists through video interviews and music sessions specially prepared for the series! We will follow the series on Lampa Collective's YouTube channel:    / @lampacollective  , and short videos could also be found on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

We meet, see and hear interesting names from the current music scene, who boldly experiment with electronic sound and traditional instruments, synthesizers and loop machines, from calm ambient sound to "cheeky" breakbeat.

Each session under the light of the "Lamps" promises to bring a spotlight on artists with unconventional approaches to music. The planned interviews with the musicians will complement and give more context to their performances in the Lampa sessions.
