विष्णु पादुका मन्दिर | Bishnu Paduka Temple | गोर्खा पार्क,Gorkha Memorial Park,Dharan |Oct 9,2023🇳🇵

Bishnupaduka Temple is situated in the northwest part of Dharan.This temple is one of the holy places for Hindus.In this place two clear footprints of rocks are a found by the local people and they believed that the footprints of Lord Bishnu.After that the people built and they started the name called as Bishnupaduka Temple.Here,not only from Inside the country but the foreign people are also visit in this temple.
The Gorkha Memorial Park is located northwest of Dharan.It’s about 4 km from the Mangalbare Chowk.The idea of establishing this park was bought by GAEAO in 2007,a committee of 11 members,comparising of retired Gurkha Officers & all ranks of and members of Gurkhas Contingent Singapore Police Force(GCSPE)was formed to take up the task under the chairmen ship of Captain Hari Bahadur Limbu 10 GR.This committee is an independent body and is not affiliated to any organization political.Here all the members are unpaid volunteers residing in Dharan.This park area covers 12 bigas.All the work in the park is financed by donations and grants from individual and Gurkha Brigade Association UK.
In order to starts generating funds for the upkeep at the earliest date work is carried out into two phases.

Phase 1:-

Canteen for food and drinks
Picnic area

Phase 2:-
Perimeter fencing
Open auditorium
Heli pad
Dharan View Tower
Para gliding launch spot
Picnic area
Accommodation huts
Botanical garden camping sites
Gurkhas Museum
Here the donors are fully responsible for the execution of the project until completion.Committee members will also frequently invloved overseeing the project.
