Columbia River at Bonneville Dam area is world's most popular spot for Shad Fishing. Each year June Month is the Shad run there. Thousands of fisherman gather here to catch and enjoy this fishery. This story is with some of our Vancouver, Canadian Bangladeshi Fisherman who dare to drive almost 650KM one way drive to participate this amazing and fun filled fishery.
They start around evening, drive 6 to 7 hours to the Dam Access Road and wait there in the Car to get early access and secure the best spot. Staying in the car overnight almost without sleep, and fishing in the Sun / Rain next day is just a hardcore fishing. And also get back driving to Vancouver crossing the US/Canada border.
