samsung galaxy note 5 (white; 32gb) setup + customization (ft. drawing test) 🤍

as promised, here is a video featuring the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (in which I do a setup and customization + drawing test using an older version of Samsung Notes).

This phone (and the Note 4) made me fall in love with the Note series (which was sadly discontinued from early 2020 iirc). The model I have is 32GB in the colour White Pearl. I purchased this from the KoreanBro website for around £77; the S Pen was purchased separately from EBay for £9.75 (as the phone never came with the stylus). During my college years, I planned on buying the Note 5 but went for the Note 4 due to removable battery/external storage support. The phone resembles the Samsung Galaxy S6 (which I used to have in college); despite overall praise, there were controversial changes regarding lack of removable battery and lack of SDcard support.

This phone was initially released in mid August 2015 with Android 5.1.1 (a.k.a. Lollipop). The highest software available is Android 7.0.1 (a.k.a. Nougat) - to note most apps are supported for this software but there are instances where certain apps on Google Play are unsupported (although, it is possible to download older versions via external means). I do have Samsung Galaxy Themes supported, however certain themes don't work due to software/hardware issues.

I did a quick customization using Samsung Galaxy Themes and Design Keyboard (modded version). I couldn't download Good Lock/Pentastic due to the apps only being available for One UI Samsung devices. I did do a drawing test using the older version of Samsung Notes (which I miss dearly, along with S Note lol).
