Simple 140g SPS Reef Tank - Tank Tour June 2021 Update | Acropora

The 140g acropora reef tank is a month older, and like any other SPS reef aquarium and SPS tank, there are issues to look at. This month in the 140g reef tank, which is a saltwater tank, we have great clips of acropora, the fish including yellow tangs, yellow eye kole tang, tomini tang, talbot damsels, and a flame hawkfish.

Despite the death of the macroalgae comprising of grape caulerpa and chaetomorpha, all the acros are growing at a great pace. Summer has been tough with the increased temperatures, but so far everything is just chugging along. We also take a look at the yellow tangs not getting along. Unfortunately I am not sure how to catch either of them without hurting the acropora in the tank.

Unfortunately, no aptasia update, although that was the plan. It is a boring topic anyways, I need to take care of it somehow.

The aquascape for the tank was inspired by the tanks of Evan Luo and Yoshi Fujisawa that were showcased on Reefbuilders.
