Two Tiger I VS King Tiger | 8.8cm PzGr 39 Armour Piercing Simulation

Описание к видео Two Tiger I VS King Tiger | 8.8cm PzGr 39 Armour Piercing Simulation

This simulation shows a scenario in which two Tiger I tanks ambush the Tiger II (King Tiger) tank with a 8.8cm PzGr 39 from a distance of 0.1km. This is a hypothetical scenario since these tanks are supposed to be on the same side.

The Tiger II, also known as the King Tiger or Königstiger, was a heavy tank developed by Germany during World War II. It was an improvement over the Tiger I tank and was intended to counter the Soviet Union's heavy tanks, such as the IS-2.

The Tiger II was one of the heaviest tanks of the war, weighing in at around 68 tons. It was heavily armored, with sloping armor on the front and sides, making it difficult to penetrate. It was armed with a powerful 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 gun, which was capable of destroying most Allied tanks at long range.

However, the Tiger II had some significant drawbacks. It was slow and not very maneuverable, making it vulnerable to flanking attacks. Additionally, it was expensive and time-consuming to produce, and Germany was already struggling to keep up with the demands of the war.

Despite its impressive capabilities, the Tiger II was only produced in relatively small numbers, with around 500 being built. It saw action on both the Eastern and Western fronts, where it was feared by Allied tank crews. However, the overwhelming Allied numerical superiority, combined with shortages of fuel and other resources, meant that the Tiger II was unable to turn the tide of the war in Germany's favor.

Armour Configuration:
