62 Ikea PARASOLL Door/window sensor connect to an LED bulb and direct binding in Home Assistant

📺 The Ikea PARASOLL Door/window sensor is a new product of IKEA's smart home system, which was introduced in 2023. In this video I integrate it with Zigbee Home Automation in Home Assistant.
👉 It can be directly paired with any Zigbee Light device, i.e. it does not require the Ikea DIRIGERA hub and the IKEA Home smart app, nor any other Zigbee coordinator!

Getting started without hub
1. Make sure the smart product you want to connect is installed and powered on.
2. Hold the door/window sensor close to the smart product (less than 5 cm away).
3. Press and hold the Pairing button for at least 10 seconds. A red LED will steadily shine under the lens of the motion sensor. The smart product will pulse with a LED once connected.

Good to know
Without DIRIGERA hub or controllers, you can connect a maximum of 10 smart products to one motion sensor.

Factory reset
To reset and remove all connected products, quick-press the Pairing button 4 times (within 5 seconds). Follow steps 1-3 to reconnect your smart products.
