In today's video we cover how to convert vectors into a matrix. We use an example of a function that takes in one vector and generates two or more types of data that are then broken up from one vector into a matrix. Why would you want a matrix over a vector? One, it is easier for a human to read a matrix where each column has different information. Two, it is easier to call a specific type of data. Imagine a long vector with three types of data in it. You would have to remember where the cutoffs were between the different types. This is prone to human error and matrices can make this better overall, so why not use them!
