Meanwhile, in Dedede Castle's section, Ness, Luigi, and King Dedede are "revived" by the badges (don't think too hard about them) thanks to Dedede. The trio join forces to rescue half of the people in the Subspace until Dedede butts heads with Bowser. After defeating him, the group proceeds to the heart of the Subspace.

"Well, it's been a long time ever since I was a playable character in the story," Ness said. "I got to take Porky down, so that's a plus."

"It's been a... Uh...I just recently started..." Luigi muttered, sniffing a bit.

Chris was quick to tell Palutena was about to mention her horrendous status in the story again. "Palutena, whatever you say, please don't bring up your unfortunate...uh, lack of screen time again," Chris advised. "We get it. You didn't like it."

"Oh, that's good! There's no need for me to repeat it again!" the goddess said. "...Can I take Luigi's spot if he doesn't like it?"

"Take it!" Luigi said.

"Luigi!" Chris scolded.

Key Notes:

First Part: Rescue Team GO!
- While on the way to the end, make sure to pick all the characters to use them later. It's totally optional to pick them unless you want to go out of your way and leave them to rot...
- Hmm...that's actually a good idea to explore...

Second Part: Fat Kings Fight
- Bowser is pissed so he wants to take it out on someone, namely Dedede.

- Poor Luigi got his focus as a playable character so late.
