J.LEAGUE Day is here! The inaugural J.LEAGUE match kicked off on May 15, 1993, and we take this day as an opportunity to reflect upon the history, thrills, growth, and achievements of professional football in Japan from the early 90s to the early 2020s. Superstars from Zico to Iniesta, managers from Wenger to Scolari, and homegrown talent from Kazu to Kubo have provided thrills over the years and seen their careers shaped by their time in Japan. Let’s relive some of then, some of now, and some of what’s never changed throughout J.LEAGUE’s 29 seasons!
