Kummi is one of the very popular folk dances of Tamil Nadu, India. This folk dance is performed during many community, social, and temple festivities. Performed mostly by girls and women, this attractive dance form comprises of simple, varied, energetic and very graceful movements. The dancers use their palms to clap an indicate rhythm while making beautiful patterns.
