A Common Hunger with Michael Reynolds | Sunday Sessions no.2

Описание к видео A Common Hunger with Michael Reynolds | Sunday Sessions no.2

Michael Reynolds had lost his job, he had a ten-month-old baby and his city had just been hit by an earthquake. Under these conditions, he felt the call that led to the creation of Roimata Food Commons. In this conversation, we weave together Michael’s story with other examples of projects rethinking how we feed ourselves and our communities in ways that aren’t held hostage by the market – or the state, in its inhuman and bureaucratic forms. These approaches to food-growing are not "rational" within the logic around which our societies are currently structured, yet they carry the knowledge, skills and practices that will be all we have to fall back on when this logic fails us.
