DIY CATIO Enclosure: How it was made ~ 5 days in 10 minutes🐾

Join us as we unveil the creation of our ultimate Catio Home, complete with all our closely guarded secrets. The process spanned several days, with plenty of helping hands, as we were resolute in crafting the perfect feline haven. Begin by locating a shaded and tranquil area, clearing the land, and marking out your designated space. Then, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to work! For this project, we enlisted workers for framing and landscaping, with labor costs comprising the bulk of the expenses. 🏡🐾

Our primary objective is to establish a secure and enjoyable outdoor habitat for our beloved shelter cats. If you’re contemplating creating a Catio or outdoor space, consider incorporating features that encourage exercise, climbing, cozy hiding spots, and comfortable sleeping areas. Our Catio also features native, non-toxic plants. Additionally, we’ve produced several videos covering Catio Design and other elements to enhance your feline companions’ experience. So, let your imagination roam and think like a curious cat!

Materials:
Black Coated wire fencing 14 gauge 6 foot - purchased from Amazon
Pressure treated lumber. The lumber we used are 4x4", 2x4, 2 x6 and fence boards.
Concrete
Heavy duty zip ties
Wood stain
Artificial grass
Polycarbonate roofing panels - Misty Green Colored
Wood screws - star bit
16g 3/4" staples for pneumatic stapler
12x12" pavers, pea gravel and landscape fabric and landscape staples
native non-toxic plants.

Equipment and tools used includes: Mini bolt cutter for the wire fencing, zip tie cutter, drill, miter saw, metal sheer cutter, air compressor and the main stay item was the pneumatic air stapler,
