Learn to simulate and design the rigorous distillation column in Aspen HYSYS, and to do the performance analysis by varying various parameters i.e., % tray efficiency of the column. The problem statement is given below:

A feed mixture consisting of 0.05 wt. % ethane, 0.56 wt.% propane, and 0.39 wt. % n-butane is fed to the column at 17 bar, 78.7 °C, and at a flowrate of 1000 kg/h. Specification/parameters of the column:

1. Number of Stages = 75
2. Feed Stage = 50
3. % purity of top Product = 88 mole% propane
4. Reflux Ratio = 3
5. Column pressure = 16 bar
6. Condenser type = Total Condenser
7. Tray Efficiency = 70%
