For #worldpopulationday, we hit the streets of Addis Ababa to hear directly from youth. Alongside their hopes for family, many shared real concerns about financial stability and job opportunities.

UNFPA's State of World Population report 2025 reminds us: people should have the power to decide freely and responsibly if, when, and how many children to have, without pressure or barriers. To make that a reality, we must create an enabling environment where young people feel secure about their future.
