New polling out this week from Emerson College and "Inside California Politics" has Republican Steve Hilton leading the field, with Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell and Republican Sheriff Chad Bianco in a tight race for second place. But with no clear breakouts in the field, questions now mounting some 100 days before the California primary over whether any candidates could still jump in, or, more likely, drop out.
