Fall Out Boy - Honorable Mention (1st Magic 8 Ball, Minneapolis) (1st Time in 10+ Years)

So this is where things get REALLY exciting for all the deep cut fans like myself.

Each show of the tour, Fall Out Boy has a Magic 8 ball portion of the set, where Pete asks the Magic 8 ball a couple of questions and then they play a deep cut or two from any point of their discography, and I mean, ANY point of their discography. B-sides, etc. are also considered.

Tonight we got the holy grail in terms of Magic 8 balls. SIX Magic 8 ball requests, so SIX EXTRA DEEP CUTS. I was so freaking happy.

The first song of the six is off of their technical first album (but the band would disagree with that, feeling it’s more of a demo album or mini-LP). The album is called “Fall Out Boy’s Evening Out with Your Girlfriend”, and the first song on it is called “Honorable Mention”. AND THEY PLAYED IT. They played it in medley form in 2013 for a handful of club shows, but hasn’t been played in full since 2007 until tonight which is NUTS. Enjoy!!
