Minerology and Rock Distribution Map || Worldbuilding Guide Part 11

Описание к видео Minerology and Rock Distribution Map || Worldbuilding Guide Part 11

Welcome to the next video in my worldbuilding guide series for creating an Earth-like planet! This video is covering rocks and minerology! We will be looking at the rock cycle, rock types and minerology, past orogenies and shallow seas, and creating a rock distribution map. This will set us up for part 12, where we will be looking at metals and ore deposits by technological age (and some gemology for fun).

Also, a huge shout out to geologist Nikolai Hersfeldt of Worldbuilding Pasta and geographer RossBayGeo as he is known on YouTube and for their feedback and advice on this project.
