Awenda Provincial Park, Penetanguishene

I love this park! Really nice beaches, nice trails, and excellent camping.

There are some local attractions nearby. I have a video of one of them: the Wye Marsh    • Wye Marsh, Midland / Penetanguishene  

There is also Discovery Harbour and Sainte Marie among the Hurons.

One other fun thing that I like to do is collect stickers from Ontario Provincial Parks in their passport book. It is a small book with a page for each provincial park in Ontario, and the parks sell the passport books and stickers to add to the pages once you have visited. Some people prefer to collect patches to sew onto backpacks or camp blankets. You can order the passport books, stickers, and patches online, as well.
